The price is not attractive at all. It is equivalent to the normal RRP and at that time when I visited it, there is a 20% discount. But the place is full of fish. Must see the tiny jelly fish, very cute.

Anz1199, not true. I would say HK's prices are pretty good for not so new kits when we compare with the likes of even online retailers like v2hw or hobbyhub, which does direct yen conversions of approximately S$0.0155 to 1 yen.

I am blunt not because I am mean but because I hope others can be blunt with me. Only through brutal honesty can we seek to improve ourselves. Pulling punches and sugar-coating does not work.

@Edy, oh ok.. sorry I messed it up... Smile
Will get the maps up by tomorrow...
HK the Bandai kits prices there I find are quite good, but I neber buy because since can get from SG, my primary target was G-System... And must buy something that Bandai would not likely produce in the near future at a cheaper price....

Oh this Gundam street is fantastic! They used to have a large gundam themed shop decorated like a whitebase at a big shopping centre at Tsai Wan but it closed down a year ago. It was such a pity, but I guess this street is even better! Can't wait to go thereEm115

Sorry for the wrong information, I was trying to mean that Hong Kong Aquarium Gundam Street price was not competitive compared to those at Mongkok & Wan Chai area.
Normally, for my buying conversion, I would take the yen price by the side of the box which is near to the bar-code, multiply by 2.1 to get the SRP, then multiply by 0.6 which is 40% off. Recently good buy is 1:100 Legend at KHD 165, 1:100 MG Hyaku-Shiki at HKD 218 and 1:144 HG Strike Noir Gundam at HKD 88.
Decal and Gundam paint is also very cheap and comprehensive and I like to buy it at Ying Ming.
