Simcher, if the motor running hot, you might want to up your gearing. You maybe overgear your final gear ratio for the 5.5t, but if you use it for drifting i think the motor will be hotter then usual.

I have a fan and heatsink... the temperature after a full run of around 40mins... is only 37 degree celcius... but without the heatsink and fan... it can go as high as 70...

just reviving this thread...
just completed my very first 1/10 drift car, though i havent fit its
drifting tires which i bought days ago...darn!
anyway, heres my ride, i decided not put all of his stickers.i like simple one.
i haven't installed yet its light bucket, got excited have it a test run!
its a lamborghini gallardo body shell with HPI rs4 chasis with futaba electronics
sorry for the bubbles..rc newbie here..
