Hello,

Finally took the plunge to switch from Gundams to planes.

This is my very first attempt in plane: the Fujimi F-16C/D Jaws.
My entry for the Plamo Air Attack event. Still thinking want ot do the C version or the D version Scratchhead-hard

Start early in case of any "accident" Blood0ni

building 2 of this kit at the moment. if they havent updated the moulds, then you are in for good time.

some things to look out for, since you are building it OOB.
1. the engine intake is a 3 piece mess. once you glue that parts, putty and sand, before continue to attach to the fuselage.
2.the cocpit rim that allows you to build a 1 seat or 2seater needs some prefitting, and also will need putty and sanding to blend in nicely.
3. the nose was made in top and bottom halfs. will require lots of putty and sanding to remove the seam line. and it is very difficult because of the 'step' that will occur.
4. watch out for the main landing gear, you need to fit and glue it in before you attach the air intake. otherwise you can just divide the gear in 2 parts and then slide it in later..

CNY spring cleaning stocktake reveals i had 780 kits. 30 odd sold off. 250 more to 4 digit club.

Thanks man. Really a leap of faith from Gundams to planes... but at least the basic principle is still the sameLol

I start with the cock pit...

Plain.Uhm

The controls and interior are all printed on the decal. Spray a layer of primer coat on the cockpit and the seats. Doing the "D" version.

Have to spray the actual colour and gloss coat, apply decal. Lucky have a whole day of PH for me...boyrun
This is the decal:

I have also start on the engine intake at the same time. Really is a 3 pcs trouble. Spend lots of time putty and sanding. Also cos of this, the detail panel lines also kana sand off.Cold0wj

Have to re-scribe a few times. till now also not that satisfied... maybe need to re re scribe again...Blood0niBlood0ni

Nice work so far. One thing though: you might want to turn the flight stick the other way around. It is facing the wrong direction.

Crap. Kena the One-Man-GB virus!
