it looks a lot like the damaged cherudim in the yuna ito ending of gundam 00, when they show all the gundams battered and motionless.

btw, lee3000, may i know how you achieved the texture on your cherudim? and were the holes achieved using heated screwdriver or smth similar? cos' it looks apt on an armour model that has taken an anti-tank round- would like to try it on my tank.

RE: NG 1/100 Cherudim Gundam [updated 13/05/09]
I apologise for the lack of WIP pics.
The jagged edges were done using a drill/router with a ball type drill bit. The idea is to break uniformity by randomly pressing the spinning drill bit against the parts. Most of them were done on edges as I think they are more susceptible to damage.
The holes were created by pushing a burning joss stick into the parts. If done correctly, this will created a bulge surrounding the hole. Next, the ball type drill bit is used clear the contents of the hole, making it clean. Lastly, some thin cement is applied to the holes to melt it.
Here is a negative example, which is the one on the centre chest armour. As you can see, the hole isn't obvious and the surroundings look like a mess.
A thick layer of matt coat is applied to give the overall rough texture.
