This past weekend I got to meet my favorite Gundam mecha designer of all time. He designed the mecha in Char's Counter Attack, 0080, Patlabor, etc...

He smiled when he saw the Sazabi. Then pointed to the decal and said "GAMERA!" I then had him sign the shield; he asked if I was sure about signing over the decal on the shield; for which I have absolutly no problems with. Then after signing it, he put his hand out shake my hand.

Its the best thing that could EVER happen to one of my models... having the actual designer sign it... I also got him to sign the "Mechanical Design Works" art book from him as well.
