Well, been doing this thing for some time. Posted it at FFF but think I should post it here as well. I Remember seeing someone do a cutaway of a zaku and i thought a Qubeley would be good to do one as well. Go this one at $40 from compass point at a sale. Held on to it during my exams until last month when i finally finished. Din do too well. Anyway without too much blabbering it is HERE

I'm having a headache with what to do with the internals. Anyone any good site or ideas?
shock so cool
another one with a sawing fetish !!!! like WB !!!!.

But excellent work !!!! can't wait for more updates.
Nice glossy coat you have there.... beri nice siaBig-eyes
Very nice cutting on the amor....with LEDs inside the internal frame,
but... just wondering..... if the amor got so many hole on it....

How can it protect the mecha as well?

Sorry..... noobs question..... Em01
That is some crazy cutting!! Big-eyes

Hmm... with those cuts.. I feel that it would have a demonic/ organic 'feel' to the mech.

Dark scheme?
With the red LEDs maybe a black/gold paint theme might be good. Make it look like the devil! :D
Man!! That is some insane cutting skills!!

Looks very interesting right now. What colours are you using for the internal detailing? I'd suggest checking out some 'G-System' kits. Those guys usually have a very interesting way of colouring the internal mechanisms. With so much of the armour cut away amd so much internals showing, the colour choices for the internals will be important.

Are you planning similar cut aways for the rest of the kit, or is this primarily on the shoulder flaps?

The cutting is just terrible! Dremel dremel all the way then use needle file and file file file. No joke loh Blood0ni

Its not really a useable model, its a cutaway, like those car model they cut here cut there to let you see the insides. Don't think i'm doing it justice though. Now that i cut away so much I dunno what to do with the insides!Scratchhead-hard

I was thinking an orange grey and white. haha.. I haven't decided that. Test scheme colours? I dunno also.

I agree the insides are like super important. Thats the whole trouble now. Anyway i'm doing this for the entire right side of the body, shoulders, arms, hips, skirt, legs. Torso abit la, i wanna do like the jeep site guy's shoulder hinge thing. Where to get hinges that small ah?

Its from HERE

But i feel like its way beyond me. Wanted to push myself out of the OOB comfort zone but i think I might have pushed too far
I like the way you think, pushing yourself outta the OOB comfort zone, and no, I think it's predicaments like these that will really push you to think how u wanna handle the expanse of insides. I look forward to this. Go Go Go
