Salmonjim just did a superb SD diorama for the Seed compy so you might wanna get some tips from him.

Looking good man. Lol
G, you mean the SD minerva with 3 SD on it? If it is then that one is real power!!! Saw it today with my own eyes! Buay tahan man...Want to steal it home!!!

Yo bro, my factory needs a major overhual liao...too ambitious...to do too many thing at one go...hahaha This SD was at this state for the past 3 mths liao!!!
Used the tamiya epoxy putty...

Now experiencing sanding HELL....Anybody knows a better way to trim down to shape before sanding? Can using penknife help?

wa...... need some serious sanding!!! and in between the 3 cones would be a PAIN to sand..... Blood0ni

errr.... want to snap them off and do them individually before putting them onto the shield???... Em120
I sometimes shave putty down with a sharp blade until I get near the shape I want then I sand it as close to perfect as I can.
yahh..i think the best way now is just saw them off then join back after sanding individually...tamiya epoxy is a pain in the @$$

but can also use blade to trim down..my experience with tamiya epoxy.. sand sand sand..then the thing break off from original part -_-'
Thank you guys for sharing the experiences..

Ya the epoxy is a real pain in the arse to sand...Normal file difficult to file it..Need to use diamond file then can see the effect..

As for the cutting away method, might not wanna try cos too small liao..I dun have delicate fingers skills... So I will try to use the sharp blade method...

Lastly, is epoxy putty meant to be rubbery???Thanks for all the help given!
