Finally started doing one macross kit which i got it not too long ago from yahoo auction, the macross VF-1D in Fighter mode in 1/100 scale. This kit is the Arii 15th anniversary edition... dunno how long already, but this is one of Arii's better kits...

The Box... looks good neh... soo colorful.. Wink-wink

It comes with a figure in those "Tikum" style black color bag.. dunno who is this also... haha.

The "manual" and painting guide.. got a very retro feeling, well this is a old kit..

Anyway, started off painting the Cockpit..

Finished the canopy with smoke grey also... so this is currently how it looked like..

Its almost complete, however, when i was doing my panellines on the orange portion, to my horror, the orange "eats" in my panelling pen's ink!!shock
Urgh!! had to slowly wipe it off the portion with a thinner wet cotton bud and redo the area... :em56:the orange paint is difficult to handle.... I will spray a topcoat first to "set" the orange paint before i continue my panel lines and weathering.. Em56

I did this kit a few years back and it was airbrushed...
Must say your hand painted ver beat my airbrushed ver flat...
Great job man! Can't wait to see it finished.
I still have a few of this kits at home...
