I am wondering if anyone got good ideas to bulk up the big wings for the destiny. Not the smaller parts but the 2 big parts,

1)I was thinking of the usual , cut and lengthen first , sand like hell,

2)Then to bulk it up , to use WB method , of using another piece of pla plate , cut slots and then super glue it in. and then epoxy it.

But bloody siong process. Blood0ni
Either way it's siong and either one works. I think the WB method might prove abit stronger as the slots act as placeholders BUT the problem then is that underneath, you might see some steps. The 1st method reduces that.
How about using 1-2mm brass wire for support? I'd think that that would just as stong as the slat method, with the advantage of just filling with pla-plate. Like add pla-palte to both parts of the wing, then, drill some holes to fit the wire in, then fix with super glue. Good Luck! Em58

Here's a link to Keita's Destiny WIP. He gets past the problem of the insides by using pla plates cut and added with internal "patterns" so he doesn't have to sand the insides.
Thanks for all your help . Now still at the stage of customizing ball joints for the shoulders and also ball waist for my mobile ginn.

But really scared to spoilt the whole kit with the wings bulking up . Well nothing ventured nothing gained. Smile.

Just that strike freedom and destiny proportions all very wrong ! So far I find only the gouf ignited OOB still quite okie.
I do find 144 destiny is still okay. But strike freedom.... hack it la lol...
The head damn ugly dun think I want to buy a hg freedom just for the head so must modded the side v fins and the mask to make it wider. And the bloody waist is so short and rail gun looks cheap! really kana sia !
