OK... here's what I've been working on since the end of WOOB... progress has been superslow though
More or less the pose I'm doing:
Some shortcuts I did to ease painting:
Chopped off the face from the rest of the head
Modified the calf thrusters
This being a NG kit, pose needed to be modded a bit:
Made the torso bend forward a bit more
Initial filling of the huge amount of space in the shoulders:
Much more details here
All comments (good and bad) welcome

Thats a lot of people making the Destiny kit!
Seems like an eye candy this time~
sharpen the v-fin

having your own colour scheme or are you going to do the diorama u told me about when we met up last time ?
Looking good...
Will you be adding the "Wing of Lights"???
Wow fierce!....Time to warm out your engine liao.....Any internal pic on the torso mod?

So far so good

Neat idea on the extra torso piece to tile it forward

Cant tell much from the initial stages.
Adding panel lines? Got a alot of space to explore
Looking forward to the colour scheme

I'll leave the sharpening till last. Don't want it to break off. Nope. No diorama for me. The idea is to at leats finish and join the comp...

I'm a lazy modeler so you will never catch me doing super mods that eventually you can't see hahahahah
Nope... dun intend to add panel lines. I prefer my kits have clean lines with minimal panel lines. I want panel lines, I build aircraft kits

As for color scheme... I doubt I will deviate much from the standard lah...
OK. Got some progress done. Basically added pistons to the feet and modified the pelvis some more for a more dynamic pose.
Full details here
I actually think the mods are effective in a sense that since it's fixed pose, you don't need extensive mobility.
As for the shoulders, perhaps you can do what I did to the WOOB Abyss. Find a hidden spot to superglue it to the upper chest area.

Damn... that's actually a pretty good idea!
