Guess SG will NEVER have such events................ Em56
avante ! it was known to have the best chassis, argh the good old days
The avante MK II certainly looks good!!Big-eyes

Definately will get one of these!! Me still selectively collect mini 4wd.. heh heh.. Em01
The Avante is not a good chassis anymore when the X series and TZ-X series comes out right? Because it didnt have side bars to support the car...

Quote:
* Assembly kit 3-piece detachable MS Chassis with mid-ship motor layout
* No glue required for assembly
* Type 130 double shaft motor. Requires two R6/AA/UM3 batteries (sold separately)
* Body made from durable ABS plastic
* Kit includes large diameter tires and gold colored, 3-spoke wheels powered by 4:1 gear

I find it funny that they say the body is made from Durable ABS plastic, because no matter how durable the plastic is, a straight forward crash into walls with a power engine on will still tear the whole piece into 2boyrun

I remembered when I was playing mini 4WD during those primary school days I was using a zero chasis which did not have a side bar too, but i zhang the bumper and add the tail attachment as well as putting 4 stabiling poles to it which works really well. Oh, have to put all those rollers into the stabilizing poles as well.

What really matters is the Hyper Dash motor, must unwind the green cables manually and rewind it tightly again. Then season it by running it for a few hours. Har, those good old daysEm58

Ya, I remember zhnging my motor a lot, I pour a lot of coolant on it and let it run for about 2 hours before offing it daily, so it was really seasoned, but it can only last about 1 basketball size track and it has to be cooled down..

And that same motor wrecked my whole X chasis, It flew out of the track, and dashed right out of the road, and before I could reach it, it has already touched the other side of the walls and cracked the whole thing into half.
@Kira, that's how Tamiya make money ;)
