All three units were sprayed with Flat Black before Olive Drab was applied

wow. what scale are these? 1/144 or 1/72.. looks very detailed for such small tanks

These braille tanks are from 1/72 Dragon Pro-Modeler Series of Sherman tanks...Got brass Photoetchs...

Yes DOM, I'm a District Scout Leader with the Singapore Scouts and together with some of our Bros and Sistahs in this Forum, we had actually organized a Scale Modelling Workshop for Cub Scouts...

Abt your shermies, do you preshade the models before you paint? I suppose you use an airbrush too?

Gosh so many nice builds on this site, so many inspirational stuff... i have a few of the dragon shermans and other brands a well... i gotta hurry up with some of my other builds... then i can start on my shermans as well...!

DOM, I did not preshade the models but gave them a thorough base coating of flat black. Once this base coat had dried, I started applying Olive Drab. I've been using airbrush for all my models for about 4-5 yrs.

I haven't have the opportunity to meet Kok Ming. I'm pretty sure he's not from my Scouting District.

Hi Duke! Yes they are from Dragon...I still have another batch of 4 Shermies which are still under construction. Will be posting my progress in the days to come...

Dragon is a great brand if you want to start a braille Sherman collection. They have about over 10 versions and you can still add on the ones from Trumpeter.
