Hi all. This is my 1st attempt with 1/35th scale model in many moons. I just had to to this model cos it is just so cool.

The AFV Club Stryker is one of the best model from this maker. The fit are near perfect and details are delightful. But rumours had it that the original designer of the mould is from former Skybow.

Anyway, there are many tiny parts in this model. So those with butter fingers (like me) have to have a lest 1 pair of sharp tweezers. There are also a some error in the instruction booklet. I will post it at a later time.

Below are the photographs of my built. I have not put on the photo-etch for the gun and the exhausts yet. Hope you'll like it. Thanks for looking. Comments are welcome.

I am doing this stryker at the moment too! And I agree with Duke that the molding is excellent and detailed.

Just want to add that the fit is good and the upper and lower hull fits perfectly. The kit is not too 'over-engineered'. A good example would be the power transmission, Just 3 parts to it!!! If it were a Trumpeter kit, it would easily be 10+ parts.

I did the lower hull plus suspension and transmission in just 2hrs+. So its nice and fast.

And yes some of the instructions in the manual is inaccurate (like wrong referencing of the parts), so you have to rely on eyeball Mk 1.0.

I am sure Duke will update us regarding that Smile
Duke sorry to hijack your thread here, just to let anyone here doing the MGS that you should put the engine PE at the side of the driver's hatch before you attached the hatch to the upper hull.

That is because if you follow the kit instructions and attach the drivers hatch first, when the time comes for you to attach the PE later, you will face some difficulty bending and attaching that particular PE.

Btw, Duke told me this, and I just wanna put it here since I am sooooo slow in building. I spent 2 hrs just doing the driver's hatch and the engine PE tonight... Toungue
wah...looks fierce even without paint !!! Go
Hi all. This brute is almost done. Left some minor touch ups, dusting the the tires and a bit more stowage.
