Ya. I think they mention tat they will shift to suntec themselves on 21Nov 2008, so if cant see model in taka means you shortlisted liao

Your friend is right about it if he refer to the photo's angle(lower part longer than the top. I saw the actual model at Taka and found the top is slightly longer.(the actual yumi from wiki is almost double the lower part)

We're talking about a 20 meter tall robot, wearing samurai armor, riding a robot horse twice its size. Yet the most unrealistic aspect and 'wrong' about the kit is the bow?

Well, seriously speaking, I think the bow looks just fine. It's a matter of how you look at it. Like what Rathaloes have said, the upper part of the bow (Yumi) is in fact twice the length of the lower portion. And the creator has extended the upper portion slightly longer but of course not that long. And believe me, this is from the horse's mouth, pun intended.

MechaEd, you also failed to mention that the giant robot riding the robot horse is shooting an armour piercing arrow.

But wow... Leon actually did do some research on the bow. I'm impressed. So chalk it up to artistic license then!
