Got this old kit from a plane junkie
Nice build so far. need some minor puttying to fill up some gaps by the side.
Did some wiring and small plaplates
When its closed.. checking the fittings.
I would have cut out the area behind the back seat and detail up further if I haven't glue it.... damn... shouldn't have bought the Daco F-18 book...

Neh neh... what plane junkie? Heehee!
wah.. u added stuff to the rear cockpit housing.. cool.. looking 4wd to more wip pics
Time for some update
Using white glue for the cockpit
Seam removed...

Can prime and paint liao..

Remember to paint the cockpit frame internal colour before you prime.

Sometimes for airplane canopies, the inside colour of the frame differs from the outside.
But since we usually do not mask and paint from the inside, (we only paint from the outside), we first paint the inner colour.
This will be visible through the transparent plastic.
Then we paint over the canopy again, using the exterior colour.
Thus the canopy frames will have one colour on the 'inside' and another colour on the outside.

I have been using white glue for all my plane canopy.. once dried.. strong enough for painting works.
painting inside canopy = mask liao, ab black then followed by the main canopy colour
so when u view the inside of the canopy it is black instead of grey
