ok... my turn to show what i've been doing!
this is a pretty old kit that i have... might as well
do it now OOB since ver 2 will be out soon.
the pics will show the parts that have been worked
on... mostly it is the crazy seamlines, mold lines, sink
marks... the works. you name it this kit's got it.
The kit will be done in a clean look concept... maybe
like fix style. with some decals and stencils to give a
custom look. was thinking of going for a damaged zaku
or at least one which has seen some battle but, oredy
have another one planned for that style. enjoy the pics guys!
Here's the zaku all snapped and ready to go! at least
he looks fierce in this pic.

Marvellous seamline right through the arms and (not shown)shoulders

Nice generous amount with the thigh, leg, and feet as well..

I drill the female ports and trimmed the male pins on all my kits so as
to ease test fitting and also when applying cement as you will see later

Good thing to remember when using extra thin is to leave a very very
small/fine gap to let it run through. Too big and it wont move, too small
well it won't get in through the groove.

Squeeze em!! Handy to have some clips around to hold parts together
while the cement dries, which could take from a few hours up to a day.
Unlike superglue cement jointed parts will not crack or split when pressured but not as quick drying. You'll need pretty strong clips as well to hold em together cos they might split a little and you'll end up with a cemented part with a hairline down the middle. wasted effort.
thats why i loosen them a little to ease the squeezing process.

another flaw in plastic kits... the sinkhole or whatever you want
to call it... ever present even in the best kits. not too obvious for some
ppl but to nitpickers... it'll show up after painting. only way is to sand
your way down or apply a thin layer of putty/surfacer to level the area.
