Italeri kit of A-4E. This is a recycled model so no hav WIP pix.
This Italeri model is one of the cheaper 1/72 A-4 around. Should cost less than $10. Raised panellines, no seperate slats, weapons molded onto pylons and 1 piece canopy. This italeri model is slightly smaller than the fujimi version of A-4E and IMO it's fitting is better than fujimi due to less part breakdown.
This model was first done several years ago in exactly the same scheme as it is now with open canopy and landing gears. Don't quite like it then so throw into my big spare parts box. Recently dig it out to do it in flight mode.
The original paint is strip, carry out partial rescribe of panellines, spray with mr color paint and add decals from fujimi A-4E. Since I cut the original 1 piece canopy into 2 the first time i built, now I had to heat form a new front of the canopy. The canopy don't fit very well now so ending result is quite bad.
The picture shows what I added to the model. The unpainted model is another italeri A-4 which is in process of recycling.
